Editorial policy

This policy applies to public content on pepkit.ai, including:

• calculator instructions, formulas, examples, and warnings
• product feature and privacy explanations
• reference pages that discuss a named compound or health-related topic
• comparison pages and claims about third-party products

PepKit does not select a personal dose, diagnose a condition, prescribe a protocol, or tell a reader whether to use a substance. A search term alone is not a reason to publish health guidance.

Calculator examples use stated sample values to explain arithmetic. They are not recommendations.

For factual health or compound claims, we prefer sources in this order:

1. regulator-approved labels and government publications
2. peer-reviewed systematic reviews, clinical guidelines, and original studies
3. official technical documentation for product and platform claims
4. clearly labelled secondary sources when no primary source answers the question

We do not treat vendor sales copy, affiliate posts, forum comments, or search-result summaries as proof of a health claim.

Before publication, we check factual claims against cited sources and edit for accuracy and clarity. Formula and product pages also require an implementation check. Health-related content distinguishes approved product labelling, research findings, and user-supplied values, and states the limits of the evidence.

PepKit does not have a medical review team. Publication does not require sign-off from a clinician or other external reviewer. Our content is educational and is not clinically reviewed or approved.

Formula pages are checked when calculation code changes. Product pages are checked when the described feature or policy changes. Health-adjacent claims are reviewed when a cited source changes or a correction is reported.

Material corrections should state what changed and when. Minor spelling and layout edits do not need a change note.

Loona LLC owns PepKit. Editorial pages do not accept payment for favorable compound, vendor, or third-party product coverage. Any future sponsorship or affiliate relationship must be disclosed on the affected page.
